We're on a mission to save lives.
A non-profit geared for action
At FOW, we understand first hand the struggles (both physical and emotional) that long haulers face. Our mission is to empower individuals and families, helping them receive financial backing for treatments, as well as providing resources, support and a real sense of community.
We envision a movement that brings hope to a condition that thousands have experienced as hopeless.
Simply put, we aim to help as many people as we can.
We help Long Haulers with:

Direct-To-Candidate Donations
Donations go directly to candidates and their health journey. Candidates will have individual campaigns that will receive funds, which will be used directly for treatment costs.

Verified & Vetted Healthcare Partnerships
Finding the right care has been tough for Long Haulers. That’s why we are on a mission to find the good guys and connect you with them.

Knowledge & Resources
As new treatments and research emerges, we are making it our mission to get the word out so we all can spread the good.

Community Of Hope

Our Story
One Man's Promise To God
In December of 2020, our CEO Tim Husereau, contracted covid. He spent a week unable to get out of bed and nearly lost his life because he was unable to breathe. As the days went on, he was able to get back on his feet and move a little bit each day, but quickly found out that if he moved too much he would be on the ground gasping for air like a fish out of water!
Tim was playing with his family one day, when suddenly he was unable to breathe at all. He went to his bedroom and collapsed on the floor so his family wouldn’t see him gasping for air. As he laid there, he made a promise to God that if he made it out alive, he would help everyone he could that was affected by this terrible virus.
For over a year and a half, Tim struggled with similar situations like described above along with major bouts of fatigue. Over $110,000 of personal funds later, still no doctors would help him find any relief from his symptoms.
Today he is not all the way healed, but he has answers from the research he has done and is able to live a life without the crushing pain that long haulers can bring.
Fish out of water was born from a man’s promise to God and his journey to recovery.
